At STM Journals Shop, we value your satisfaction and aim to ensure a smooth and transparent experience. This policy outlines our terms regarding returns, order cancellations, and refund requests.
Return Policy 📦
Due to the nature of academic journals and printed publications, returns are generally not accepted once the order is delivered.
However, returns may be considered in the following exceptional cases:
- You received a damaged or defective product
- You received an incorrect item that differs from what you ordered
In such cases:
- You must notify us within 3 working days of delivery.
- Send a clear photo of the received item(s) and packaging to [email protected].
- If approved, we will replace the item or issue a credit note, as applicable.
📌 Please note: Opened, used, or digital content (e.g., online journal access or e-books) are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
Order Cancellation Policy ❌
1. Before Dispatch
- You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it or before it is dispatched, whichever is earlier.
- To cancel, email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for cancellation.
- If eligible, we will initiate a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
2. After Dispatch
- Cancellations are not possible once an order has been shipped or a digital product has been accessed.
- For subscriptions, once the first issue is delivered or accessed online, cancellation is no longer allowed.
Refund Policy 💸
Refunds are processed under the following conditions:
✅ Eligible Refund Situations:
- Duplicate payment made for the same order
- Payment made for a product/service that is out of stock or unavailable
- Approved cancellations before dispatch
- Order not delivered due to our error and no replacement possible
❌ Non-Refundable Situations:
- Orders for which the digital content has been accessed/downloaded
- Delays in postal/courier services (unless the order is lost and confirmed undelivered)
- Change of mind or ordering errors by the customer
Refund Processing Timeline 🔄
- Once your refund is approved, it will be initiated within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method (Credit/Debit card, UPI, Net Banking, etc.).
- The time taken to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

- Any supporting documentation (e.g., payment receipt, photo evidence for damaged items)
