Authors

    1. Dr. Renuka K (Ph.D. Nursing): She is presently working as Dean, Faculty of Nursing Sciences, Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the College of Nursing, Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, Chennai and secured 1st class with distinction. She is a gold medallist in MSN and a state rank holder (second rank) from Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai in 1998. She did her post-graduation from the College of Nursing, Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, Chennai and secured 1st class with distinction in 2003. She completed her Ph.D. in Nursing from the Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, 2014. She has 18 years of teaching and 16 years of research experience. She is a lifetime member of the Association of India, New Delhi and Nursing Research Society of India, New Delhi. She has received various awards like “Commendation Certificate” for Best Service rendered in the Institution, Excellent Teacher Award for Best Services in Teaching from Lion’s club. She secured fifth place from among the top 10 promising nursing colleges in India (ranked by a magazine titled Higher Education Review in 2017) and got the Best Administrator award from TNNMC on May 2018. She has 30 copyrights and 10 patents.
    2. Ms. Jayasri Jayamoorthy (M.Sc. Nursing): She is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mental Health Nursing, Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, MGMC&RI, Puducherry, Pondicherry University and secured 1st class with the first rank in OBG Nursing in B.Sc. (N) IV Year in 2011. She did her post-graduation from Mother Theresa Post Graduate Research Institute and Health Sciences, Puducherry, Pondicherry University and secured 1st class with distinction in 2015. She has five years of teaching/four years of research experience. She has received awards like the “Appreciation Award” for the IQAC academic year at the institution and has also received the High Publication Award from the institution. She has two copyrights and one patent under process. She has served as an examiner, research guide for UG students. She is a technical editor in Pondicherry Journal of Nursing. She has presented papers/posters at national and international conferences. And published articles in various national and international journals. She is an IAQC Institutional Coordinator at Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry.
